Description

To celebrate the commissioning of our new Gin Still & also the award-winning success of the original Ninth Wave Irish Gin we decided to create Ninth Wave Export Strength. This gin has been designed to be the big brother or sister to the original, delivering bolder flavours and higher alcohol strength at 46%. We also wanted to see how our flavour profiles would develop using the original recipe with a few twists and then in the distillation process using finer & differing 'cut points'. We hope you'll agree we've achieved a beautiful balance of flavours which Ninth Wave original is renowned for whilst simultaneously delivering points of difference which gives the Export Strength its very own identity.

Tasting Notes

Nose - Elevated fresh citrus abounds with a clean mint background and a sense of floral aromatics, as though ground in a pestle & mortar, lingering throughout.

Palate - Very crisp yet extremely elegant. Refined touches of spice and light brandy flavours balance the enhanced fresh citrus from the fresh lemon peel.
The mouthfeel is full and lingering whilst retaining a great sense of balance.
