The terms ‘Hinch Distillery’, ‘Ninth Wave Gin’, ‘Hinch Tours’, ‘Hinch Experiences’, or ‘Hinch Gift Shop’ or ‘us’ or ‘we’ refer to the owner of the website whose registered office is 19 Carryduff Road, Ballynahinch, Co. Down, BT27 6TZ, United Kingdom. Our company registration number is NI640001. The term ‘you’ refers to the user or viewer of our website.

Hinch Tours & Experiences

As we are a licensed venue, children under the age of 18 must vacate the premises by 9 pm, in accordance with The Licensing (Northern Ireland) Order 1996. Our fully licensed bar is open before and after tours, weddings, conferences, and events, offering local craft beer, spirits, and ciders.

  • Tour Duration:
    • The Distillery Classic & Premium Whiskey Tour lasts approximately 60 minutes, including a tasting.
    • The Gin School Experience lasts approximately 90 minutes, including a tasting.
    • Seasonal tours and their durations will be listed when booking.
  • Age Restrictions:
    • Participants must be over 18 years of age to join the Hinch Distillery Gin School Experience, as this includes a 50cl / 500ml bottle of gin designed during the tour for each participant.
    • The Hinch Distillery Whiskey Tour is open to those under 18 years of age if accompanied by an adult. Minors will be served soft drinks instead of alcoholic spirits during tastings.
    • We reserve the right to request valid photo ID from any guest.
  • Accessibility:
    This is a working distillery with indoor and outdoor areas that may have varying temperatures, smells, and lighting. If you are sensitive to these factors, please inform your guide. The tours require standing/walking for extended periods. If you require special assistance, please inform us in advance or notify your tour guide on the day.
  • General Terms:
    • All sales are final.
    • We reserve the right to refuse entry.
    • Due to maintenance, some areas may be excluded from the tour for health and safety reasons.
    • Free parking is available on-site, but we cannot accommodate overnight parking. Vehicles and contents are left at the owner's risk.
    • Smoking, including e-cigarettes, is prohibited except in designated areas.
    • Luggage may be subject to a security check. Please avoid bringing large bags, rucksacks, or suitcases, as storage facilities are not available. Small personal belongings (e.g., coats, umbrellas, shopping bags) should be carried by yourself during the tour.

Hinch Distillery - 10% Off When You Leave a Review

This offer is available in-store only and applies to customers who have attended a paid Hinch Distillery Whiskey Tour or Hinch Gin School. The discount applies to eligible products at their current selling price.

  1. The offer does not apply to gift cards and cannot be combined with multibuy offers, other discount codes, promotions, or price matches.
  2. The offer applies to full-priced items only.
  3. To redeem, scan the QR code provided and leave a review on Google Reviews or TripAdvisor.
  4. Proof of your review must be presented at the till before payment, either printed or displayed on your phone.
  5. The discount must be applied at the point of sale and cannot be applied retrospectively.
  6. The discount is non-transferable and not exchangeable for cash. Returned items will be refunded at the discounted price. This does not affect your statutory rights.
  7. Hinch Distillery reserves the right to (i) cancel this offer at any time; (ii) cancel or refuse any individual's benefit from it; and (iii) amend these Terms and Conditions, including the end date.

Hinch Online Discounts: 

These Discount Terms of Service (“Terms”) apply to all promotional codes, discounts, special offers, and similar promotions (“Discounts”) offered by Hinch. By redeeming or using any Discount, customers agree to the following:

  1. Non-Combinable Discounts
    Discounts cannot be combined with any other discounts, promotions, or offers. Only one Discount may be applied per order or booking.

  2. Exclusions – Warehouse 3 Collection
    Discounts are not valid on any items within the Warehouse 3 Online Collection. 

  3. Exclusions – Sitewide Sales
    Discounts cannot be applied during a sitewide sale. If the website is running a sitewide promotional event, all individual Discounts are automatically void for the duration of that event.

  4. Eligible Products and Services
    Discounts may only be used for tour bookings or for specific tour vouchers designated as eligible by Hinch.

  5. Ineligible Voucher Types
    Discounts cannot be applied to “Tour & Gift Shop Vouchers” or any other bundled or combined product unless expressly stated otherwise.

  6. Additional Restrictions

    • Discounts have no cash value and cannot be exchanged or refunded.

    • Hinch reserves the right to modify or cancel any Discount at any time.

    • Misuse of a Discount may result in cancellation of the order or booking.

 

Visitor Centre Promotional Offer Terms & Conditions

These terms apply to all promotional offers advertised by Hinch Distillery Visitor Centre (“Hinch Distillery”, “we”, “our”, “us”) unless otherwise stated in the relevant promotion. By redeeming any promotional offer, customers agree to these terms.

These offers are intended to support promotional campaigns promoting retail purchases and visitor experiences at the Hinch Distillery Visitor Centre.

 

1. General Promotional Terms

1.1 All promotional offers are subject to availability and may be amended, withdrawn, or extended at any time without prior notice.

1.2 Promotions cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer, promotion, discount, voucher, bundle, or staff discount, unless explicitly stated.

1.3 Only one promotional offer may be used per transaction or booking.

1.4 Promotions cannot be exchanged for cash, credit, or alternative products.

1.5 Promotions are valid only during the campaign period stated in the relevant advertisement or marketing communication.

1.6 Promotions apply only to customers aged 18 years or over where alcohol purchases are involved. Proof of age may be required.

1.7 Hinch Distillery reserves the right to refuse redemption or cancel promotions where misuse, abuse, or fraudulent activity is suspected.

1.8 Hinch Distillery reserves the right to limit quantities, restrict specific products, or cap promotional redemptions where necessary to protect stock availability or operational capacity.

 

2. Spend £200 - Get £20 Off Retail

2.1 Customers who spend £200 or more in a single transaction in the Hinch Distillery Visitor Centre retail shop will receive £20 off the total purchase price.

2.2 This promotion is valid for in-store purchases only and cannot be redeemed online.

2.3 The £200 minimum spend must be reached before the promotional discount is applied.

2.4 The promotion applies once per qualifying transaction and cannot be split across multiple transactions.

2.5 Certain items may be excluded at management discretion, including but not limited to:

  • Gift cards
  • Limited edition releases
  • Previously discounted items
  • Bundled products

2.6 If items purchased under this promotion are returned, refunds will reflect the discounted purchase value.

2.7 Hinch Distillery reserves the right to limit the number of promotional redemptions per customer, per day, or per visit where necessary to prevent misuse of the promotion.

2.8 Transactions that appear to be deliberately split to qualify for multiple discounts may be refused at the discretion of Hinch Distillery management.

 

3. Buy 1 Ninth Wave - Choose £20 Ninth Wave Merchandise

3.1 Customers who purchase one bottle of Ninth Wave Irish Gin at the Hinch Distillery Visitor Centre retail shop may choose one Ninth Wave branded merchandise item valued up to £20.

3.2 This promotion is valid for in-store purchases only and cannot be redeemed online.

3.3 The promotional merchandise must be Ninth Wave branded merchandise only.

3.4 This promotion excludes all other merchandise, apparel, accessories, and retail products sold in the Visitor Centre shop.

3.5 Eligible merchandise items will be clearly identified in-store.

3.6 If the selected merchandise item has a retail price greater than £20, the customer may pay the difference in price.

3.7 Merchandise items are subject to availability, and Hinch Distillery reserves the right to limit specific merchandise items included in the promotion.

3.8 The promotion is limited to one merchandise item per qualifying bottle purchase.

3.9 Merchandise items included in this promotion cannot be exchanged for cash, credit, or alternative discounts.

 

4. 2-for-1 Distillery Tour Offer (Wednesday-Friday)

4.1 The 2-for-1 tour offer applies to Standard and Premium Hinch Distillery tours taking place Wednesday to Friday only.

4.2 Under this promotion, two guests may attend a qualifying tour for the price of one standard adult ticket for that tour type.

4.3 The offer may be redeemed either online at the time of booking or in person at the Hinch Distillery Visitor Centre.

4.4 The promotion applies only to Standard Tours and Premium Tours and excludes private tours, special event tours, group packages, and any other tour experiences not listed as Standard or Premium tours.

4.5 The offer does not apply to tours scheduled on Mondays, Tuesdays, weekends, or bank holidays.

4.6 Tour places are subject to availability, and advance booking is recommended.

4.7 Hinch Distillery reserves the right to limit the number of promotional tickets available per tour session.

4.8 The promotion cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer, discount, promotional code, or package.

4.9 Standard tour safety policies, age restrictions, and responsible alcohol service policies apply.

4.10 Promotional tour bookings remain subject to the standard Hinch Distillery tour booking and cancellation policy.

4.11 In the event of no-shows or cancellations made outside the permitted cancellation window, promotional tickets may be forfeited and are not guaranteed to be reissued under the promotional terms.

 

 

 

5. Campaign Redemption

5.1 Promotions may be distributed through paid social media advertising, email marketing, or other promotional channels.

5.2 Customers may be required to present or reference the relevant promotion at the point of purchase or booking.

5.3 Promotions may be limited to customers within a specific geographic area or campaign period, as outlined in the relevant advertisement.

 

6. Liability

6.1 Nothing in these terms shall limit or exclude liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any liability that cannot legally be excluded under UK law.

6.2 Hinch Distillery shall not be liable for losses arising from circumstances outside reasonable control, including stock shortages, operational changes, or tour schedule adjustments.

 

7. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Northern Ireland / United Kingdom, and any disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of the United Kingdom.

 

HINCH DISTILLERY – EASTER EGG HUNT TERMS & CONDITIONS (02/04/26)

1. Promoter
The promoter is Hinch Distillery, located in Co Down Northern Ireland.

2. Eligibility

  • Open to residents of the UK and Ireland aged 18+
  • Employees of Hinch Distillery and their immediate families are not eligible

3. Competition Period

  • Runs from 3rd April 2026 to 1st July 2026
  • Clues released daily at set times via official social media channels

4. How to Participate

  • Participants must follow Hinch Distillery social channels
  • Clues will indicate locations of hidden eggs in Belfast
  • The first person to physically find the egg wins the associated prize

5. Prize Conditions

  • Each egg contains a specific prize
  • Prizes are non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash
  • Alcohol prizes are only redeemable by individuals aged 18+
  • Valid ID may be required

6. Winner Confirmation

  • Winners must contact Hinch Distillery or follow instructions inside the egg
  • Proof (photo/video) may be required

7. Redemption

  • Prizes must be redeemed within 90 days from Friday 3rd April 2026 (valid until 1st July 2026)
  • Experiences (tours, meals, shuttle) are subject to availability and booking

8. Limitations

  • Maximum of one prize per person
  • Hinch Distillery reserves the right to disqualify any participant acting unfairly

9. Safety Disclaimer
