Our 5 Year Old Double Wood is a premium blend of Single Malt and Single Grain whiskeys with the contemporary twist of Virgin Oak cask aging.

Matured for a minimum of 4 years in the finest first fill bourbon casks followed by a further 1 year in Virgin Oak casks. Bold, innovative, contemporary Irish whiskey proudly made in County Down.

NOSE

Sweet and creamy with a touch of citrus fruit. Zesty lemon peel notes are complemented by rich vanilla cream, subtle hints of tobacco, and a light woody undertone.

PALATE

Smooth and creamy with big oak spice and mocha notes. Followed by vanilla and warm cinnamon which adds depth and complexity.

FINISH

A long finish with honeyed fresh fruit flavours dominating the palate. Fresh melon and milk chocolate digestives come though, followed by a subtle lingering spice.
